During this 1 and a half hour workshop you will be introduced to mindfulness and the 8-week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course.
We will explore some simple mindfulness meditation practices so you can get a feel for the types of meditations you’ll experience during the MBSR course including:
- Breath Awareness
- Mindful Movement and how you can adapt it using a chair where required
We’ll also have a chat about the course in a bit more detail, how mindfulness can be integrated into day to day life. We’ll go through the assessment form so you can complete it in your own time and there will, of course, be time for you to ask any questions you may have about the course.
