Yoga

Your yoga classes

My classes welcome yogis from all walks of life, from beginner to advanced and everyone in between, those looking for a different style of yoga and anyone hoping to deepen their practice.

 

I teach primarily hatha yoga and chair yoga, but love to include smatterings of restorative yoga and yoga nidra (yogic sleep) every so often. I teach from a mindful point of view, encouraging you to connect into your body, notice how you move and where you feel movement all to help foster and strengthen the connection between your mind and body.

 

More and more of you are coming to yoga, not just for the physical practice, but also to de-stress, relax and unwind and find that precious “me time”. In order to find that optimal rest point, it helps to move our bodies first and then they naturally come to stillness (which is partly how yoga was developed).

 

Whatever it is that brings you to yoga, I hope you are able to find the answers in my classes, whether it be to find some stillness from the rush of the day or to stretch and tone your body. You will find a healthy balance between the physical postures (asana), mindful relaxation and just being human. You will be joining a welcoming yoga community where we always have a giggle during classes.
